This Regency Country House on the outskirts of Ambleside has had an outstanding reputation for excellent food and wine, complemented with professional, yet friendly and unobtrusive service for over 40 years.
The restaurant is decorated in a classic style, with fine china, silver and crystalware, and well-spaced out tables to allow for intimate dining. With views of the garden, the large windows give a light, airy atmosphere whilst in the evening, subdued lighting inspires a romantic ambience.
Utilising local produce wherever possible, Rothay Manor currently has an AA rosette, has been mentioned in the Good Food Guide for 41 years and was short-listed in the top 3 for the Cumbria Tourism “Taste of Cumbria Award” 2008. |
